Atlas Power LLC is one of North America’s premier data center operators and is the owner and operator of the new US$1.9-billion data center opening in North Dakota. This firm already operates a 75-megawatt data center in the US state of Montana, per the news release. 

Kevin Washington cited that Phase One of the Williston site alone would become his company’s largest operations center. The Atlas Power LLC president and founder relayed that their facility builds on their Butte, Montana location’s success while also making sure that they draw on a diversified mix of alternative power sources.
